Biography
Patty Thille began her career as a physical therapist, and completed a PhD in Sociology in 2015. She is an Assistant Professor in the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Manitoba. She explores health, illness, health care, and knowledge in her research, with particular focus on clinical communication, chronic disease management, weight bias, stigma & discrimination, and the education of health professionals.
